The PROMAX&BDA INDIA Conference and Awards Ceremony is held annually to recognize excellence in on-air promotion, branding and advertising in India. Pakistan and Bangladesh. Awards are open to Satellite, Cable, Broadcast Television, Radio Station and associated new media, their agencies and production houses.

The theme for the 2009 Conference is SUPER POWERS - BEHOLD THE ANONYMOUS HEROES. Unlike most people in television, Promo Producers and Broadcast Designers are anonymous …. yet they have a powerful voice. They possess an awe-inspiring trio of “Super Powers” - The Power of Language, The Power Of Emotions and The Power of Creativity. Every word they write, every graphic they design, and every message they produce will persuade, excite, shock, influence or change viewers. In the impending brave new world, they are up against the “dreaded 3 inch screen” and the “creeping tentacles of Broadband”. But it is what they create that matters more than the platform it is viewed on. This year, PROMAX&BDA INDIA celebrate who they are and what they do. Like Clark Kent and Peter Parker, it’s time for all Promo Producers and Broadcast Designers to rip their clothes off and show off their Creative Lycra!!!

MOJO was invited to be the Official Designer for PROMAX&BDA INDIA 2009. Based on the very creative and visually stimulating brief, MOJO set out to create our own interpretation of a trio of Superheroes battling the "Creeping Tentacles of Broadband". The idea was also extended to various elements for the 2 day event, resulting in a comprehensive branding package that looked fun and visually exciting.
