The world famous FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION CHALLENGE CUP tournament is over 130 years old and each year grabs the imagination of all football loving fans and players, with the smaller clubs dreaming of big match days and shocks over the more fashionable bigger clubs. What makes the FA Cup so unique is that any team can compete in it, and therefore go on to win it.

By using mythologies and legendary tales as metaphors to describe and compare the competition and what it takes to win it all, the campaign aims to build on the excitement and drama whereby the big clubs have a chance to meet and knock each other out of the competition and whereby the small clubs can steal the limelight by knocking the big clubs out and be the surprise winner.

For the 3rd year in a row, MOJO was once again brought onboard by ESPN STAR Sports to help create the 60sec animated trailer and bring the idea to life. Using a mix of 3D animation and 2D animation over digital matte paintings, we tranversed across mythical worlds, bringing together an amazing cast of Gods, Demigods and Demons that included Hercules, Pegasus, King Arthur, Archilles, David and Goliath.
